Issue 7 – Small Art is live

For Issue 7, we called artists to send us their best little morsels. Moments in time, breaking points, shifts in perspective, tiny art that carries big weight. We think we’ve curated a line up of small but powerful artworks sent in by artists from around the world in a range of mediums.

After speaking to film maker Neville Pierce for this quarter’s extended feature, we were thrilled to see Hari Ramakrishnan’s delightfully macabre short film, Slice. We also received some excellent short prose like the spare lines of Mary Street’s ‘Ten Steps Along the Way’ and punchy humour of Chris Connolly’s ‘Human Copyright’. And we are delighted to also have our first hybrid collaboration in Caron Freeborn and Steve Armitage’s haunting Predator.

We hope you enjoy the work collected here and find that it gives you pause in the small moments in your own life and art.

Below, you’ll find a list of our included artists so you can explore this issue in any way that you choose. Alternatively, you can click the ‘Try this’ button at the bottom of each page to follow the path we’ve designed through the art. We recommend you start with Hari Ramakrishnan’s Slice.
