We are delighted to bring you the sixth edition of all the sins and as always we have been overwhelmed by the response from all our artists. For our latest call, we asked you to explore the theme of ‘burial’ in its broadest sense and you certainly delivered: from Candice Horde’s beautiful villanelle God’s Gift; Thalia, which made us think about what is buried in our DNA, to the surprise ending in Cara Fox’s wonderfully gothic The Price of Blood.
We were also delighted to see such a broad range of artworks come in this issue. We think you’ll agree Barney Ogolla’s East African Girl is a stunning work – as soon as we saw it we knew it had to be our cover art. And we urge everyone to have a listen to Aisha Ahmad’s atmospheric audio poem The Void.
